Preserving Our Heritage. Connecting Generations.

Bangladesh’s heritage lives not only in history books, but in its songs, music, traditional instruments, stories, regional cultures, indigenous knowledge, traditions, and the everyday lives of its people.

Much of this knowledge has been passed from one generation to another, yet many traditions and cultural practices are increasingly at risk of being forgotten.

At the same time, younger generations are becoming increasingly disconnected from the cultural roots that shaped our identity.

Bangladesh Heritage Archive is a long-term initiative of Raindrops Tech Limited dedicated to using technology for cultural preservation and knowledge sharing.

The initiative aims to gradually document, preserve, and make accessible Bangladesh’s diverse cultural heritage—including folk and traditional music, musical instruments, regional traditions, cultural stories, indigenous knowledge, and other forms of heritage that deserve to be remembered and passed forward.

Our purpose is not simply to preserve the past in a digital archive.

We want to create a meaningful connection between heritage and the next generation, making Bangladesh’s cultural knowledge more accessible, discoverable, and relevant in the digital age.

We believe technology can do more than create the future. It can also preserve the past and carry its stories forward.

Through Bangladesh Heritage Archive, we envision building a growing digital knowledge resource that helps future generations discover their roots, understand their heritage, and appreciate the cultural diversity that makes Bangladesh unique.
